Michael Pritchard-Barret Furniture has been designing and building fine handmade furniture, in our workshops near Saxmundham Suffolk in the UK since 1988. The business has been known in the past as Mouse & Bear and until recently Decco SF ( Decco Sculptural Furniture ) when we decided to rename to Michael Pritchard-Barret Furniture.

With a background in fine art and sculpture, the furniture we design has a contemporary feel with a close attention to detail. We do also make more traditional pieces, examples of both can be seen in our portfolio section.

All the materials are selected from the finest quality timbers & fittings and full working drawings are produced for the clients using our CAD design system, working closely to ensure the finished piece exceeds their expectations.

We undertake all types of projects from cabinets, book shelves & AV cabinets, beds, desks & chests of drawers, to larger joinery work such as staircases & windows. To discuss your requirements please contact us

Looking for someone to mill your wood?.
Our mobile sawmilling business www.drywood.co.uk can come to you to plank up logs on site. The mill will handle up to a 3 foot diameter log up to about 18 foot long. Larger logs can be handled but need to be quartered before milling.
